AnnoEight is a Plug-In for Autodesk® Revit® that will help generate textnote on your drawings based on the elements in the view. It would generate annotations based on the element type or instance comment that you set and align it to the side of the cropbox on both side depending on the position of the element.
It works for all 2D views, Plans, Elevations, Section, Drafting & Reflected Ceiling Plans and at any scale or orientation of the view. It works best for enlarged/part Plans but it does works for all views.

How to Use
To start using AnnoEight, add in the 'Annotation' (Text that you want to show) in either the Element Comments or Type Comments.
- The Type Comments are Annotation for the family e.g Walls, Doors, Stairs, Windows, Generic Models.
- The Element Comments are Annotation for the individual element.
The Element Comments will supersede the Type Comments when generating the Textnotes, so feel free so specify an individual element.
Make sure to turn ON your Crop Box and Annotation Crop.
After finishing setting up your model. Go to your view and run AnnoEight.
Select which Text Note Type your want to use and select either 'Selected Elements' or 'All Elements'
-'Selected Elements' will generate annotation only for selected elements. *(Please make sure to select first before running AnnoEight)
-'All Elements' will generate annotation for all elements in the view. *(Please make sure your Far Clip is set correctly as it select the elements as well)
Click generate to annotate your drawing! Enjoy!
